"Above and Beyond"
Olympic Driftwood Sculptors raises money throughout the year for our  scholarship program. The scholarship is awarded to an Olympic Peninsula graduating high school senior who is actively pursuing an art degree.

Audrey Lichten, a 2011 honor graduate of Sequim High School, was awarded $750 by ODS in July. Audrey is a talented young woman who loves photography and
drawing. She will be attending Linfield College in the fall. We wish her well.

Scholarship Program
"Hello ODS Members!

I just wanted to say thank you again for my scholarship and let you know how I am doing at Linfield College. My first semester was very successful. I have a 4.0, learned a lot in new areas of study, competed at Cross Country Regionals in California as a part of the varsity team, and settled into my new home at college quite easily. I've been taking classes towards my Electronic Arts major which is a combination of art, computer science and communications. This major seems to suit me very well and I am loving exploring the art world in my different classes. I'm excited to be starting my second semester of college very soon. I am thoroughly enjoying this new stage in my life and appreciate all the support that I get from my home community. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Audrey Lichten"
