2018 scholarship RECIPIENT:
Haley Dawn Andres
Currently attending Central Washington University
Intended Major: Studio Art & Art History, Masters in Secondary Education
Like many, my interest in art started at a very young age, experimenting and holding no boundaries to my imagination. As I’ve grown as an artist, I always try to maintain this throughout my artistic endeavors and strive to learn and explore as much as I can. I am challenged every day by art, to not only improve but to use art in all areas of my life and make the world a more colorful place. When I attend college to major in art and art history, I will seek to continue this challenge, so that when I become a high school art teacher, I can inspire my students to stay curious, challenge themselves, always learn, strive for greatness, and most importantly believe that they can change the world with their hands. I strongly believe that art enables youth to do whatever they believe in, and I am so thrilled to be a part of it.
